I even attempted to tweak the settings of the uploads folder permissions tried , , Other than that, I would be open to additional direction on what this problem might be related to, and how I can resolve this.

That pretty much says it. When I try to crop an image the cropping tool is greyed out. Not a deal breaker but it can make life easier from time to time. This is our free support forum. Definitely not obvious, what you need to do is start dragging on the image, the cropping button will then un-grey. The cropping tool is basically ready to go at all times, the button is just to confirm the crop.

The button's greyed out right from the start. Oh No! You just have to click and drag on the image, the area you want to crop. Once you let go of the mouse the button becomes clickable again. After you make your first try at selecting, you can lock the aspect ratio with the fields over to the right hand side. Select the area you want cropped and click the Crop Button now that you can. First of all I would like to say awesome blog! I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your head prior to writing. I have had a difficult time clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out there. I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally lost just trying to figure out how to begin.
